INTRO TO VIDEO STORYTELLING WORKSHOP - NOVEMEBER 2018

An intimate round table discussion type workshop covering the basics of using the tools you already have as a photographer to gain confidence in adding audio visual storytelling to your services.  We will touch on adding video into your family lifestyle portfolio as well as video storytelling in the birth space.  

When: Sunday 25th of November, 2018, 9am - 4pm

Where: Newtown, NSW

Who: Photographers who have basic or advanced technical knowledge but want to start adding video to their services.

Cost: $645pp (Snacks/Coffee/Tea Provided)

6-7 hours of small group learning/Q&A time with Dania from LAUREN + DOUGLAS held in a beautiful heritage home in the heart of one of Sydney’s most vibrant suburbs.  Morning tea/coffee/snacks will be provided as we chat together, ask questions, and dive into the basics of using our DSLR or Mirrorless cameras in video mode. We’ll break for lunch to enjoy one of the many eateries that Newtown has to offer before heading back for an afternoon of more coffee ;) to learn about the basics of post production and video editing. Your workshop fee also includes access to a Private Facebook group to encourage on-going support amongst your workshop peers.

a DSLR/Mirrorless camera

a laptop with either Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve (Free), or Final Cut Pro** pre-installed

**please note I use primarily use Adobe Premiere, so while the principals of video editing remain the same I may not be able to give specific advice on Editing in FCP
